20$25,000 Winner Take All Captains Cup Dolphin Tournament

Makes Rule Modification to Accommodate More Keys Anglers

Summer is right around the corner, and you know what that means- it's time to register for the IFC Captain’s Cup Dolphin Tournament set for June 4 and 5. Join the fun at the all you can eat and drink kick off party on June 4th. Then set out to catch the three largest Dolphin on June 5th. The combined weight of the three fish biggest fish caught determines the $25,000 grand prize winner. An additional $1000 will be added to the prize money for each registered boat over 25 and up to a 30 boat maximum, which would then yield a payout of $30,000.

This year there is a change in tournament format in order to accommodate anglers/captains who travel by boat from other areas of the Keys. Unlike previous years, fish do not have to be tagged by a tournament representative before weighing. All fish to be weighed can be brought to the IFC by boat or car, but must be at the club’s certified weigh station by 5pm sharp with the anglers who caught the fish.

The Islamorada Fishing Club always puts on the best of kickoff and awards parties, with Chef Andys amazing menus and our open bar to quench your thirst. Don’t miss out! The tournament entry fee is $2500 per boat, which allows 2 anglers to fish and includes 4 tickets to all social events. The tournament's sponsors include Contender Boats, Caribee Boat Sales, Yamaha Outboards, TIB Bank, Hawks and Associates, Ivory International, and Regan Insurance.
